Create a Manufacturing order in Vana

This guide will walk you through the steps to create manufacturing order

Steps to Create Manufacturing Order

  1. Creating a New Manufacturing Order:

    • Click on the + button located on the right side of the screen.

    • This will open a dropdown menu.

  2. Selecting Manufacturing Order:

    • From the dropdown menu, under the Manufacturing section, click on Manufacturing Order.

    • This will open the manufacturing order creation screen.

Manufacturing Order Details

  1. Header Section:

    • Creation Date: Select the creation date of the manufacturing order.

    • Production Deadline: Set the production deadline for completing the order. This field is mandatory.

    • Planned Quantity: Enter the planned quantity for production. This field is mandatory.

    • Actual Quantity: Input the actual quantity produced once available.

    • Estimated Cost: The system will automatically calculate and display the estimated cost based on the inputs.

  2. Product Details:

    • Item: Select the item to be produced. Use the "Select item" button to choose from available items.

  3. Notes:

    • Public Notes: Add any public notes that will be visible in the printed document.

    • Private Notes: Enter private notes for internal use.

  4. Media:

    • Add Media: Click the "Add" button to attach relevant media. You can also take a picture directly.

Recipe Ingredients Section

  1. Item: The name of the ingredient or material required.

  2. Dimensions: Specify the dimensions of the ingredient, if applicable.

  3. Planned Quantity: Enter the planned quantity of the ingredient needed.

  4. Actual Quantity: Record the actual quantity used during production.

  5. Rate: Enter the rate of the ingredient.

  6. Cost: The system will calculate and display the cost based on the rate and quantity.

  7. Availability: Check the availability status of the ingredient.

  • Add Ingredient: Use this button to add a new ingredient to the recipe.

Operations Section

  1. Operation: The specific operation to be performed (e.g., cutting, assembling).

  2. Resource: Select the resource or machine required for the operation.

  3. Planned Quantity: Enter the planned quantity of the operation.

  4. Actual Quantity: Input the actual quantity performed.

  5. Rate: Enter the rate for the operation.

  6. Cost: The system will calculate and display the cost based on the rate and quantity.

  7. Operator: Specify the operator responsible for the operation.

  8. Instructions: Provide any additional instructions for the operation.

  • Add Operation: Use this button to add a new operation to the order.

Saving the Manufacturing Order

  1. Once all required fields are filled and all ingredients and operations are added, click the "Save" button to create the manufacturing order.

  2. Review the entered details and make any necessary adjustments before finalizing the order.
