Connecting Vana to Shopify

This guide will walk you through the steps and settings required to connect your Vana platform to Shopify.
Step-by-Step Integration
Connecting Your Shopify Store to Vana
To connect your Shopify store to Vana, you can initiate the connection either from the Vana Settings or directly from the Shopify App Store.
Connecting from Vana
Navigate to the Settings screen -> Apps (located under the Integrations section).
Locate the Shopify logo and click Connect.
Enter your Shopify store name and click Connect.

You will be redirected to Shopify, where you'll need to log in to your store and click Install app.
Connecting from the Shopify App Store
Log in to your Shopify store (https://accounts.shopify.com/example-store-name).
Go to the Apps section and click Visit the Shopify App Store.
Search for Vana in the App Store and click Add app. Follow the prompts to install the app.
Location Mapping

Description: Set up the initial import for Shopify online orders to a specific Vana location.
Settings:
Shopify online orders: Select the Vana location (e.g., Default Warehouse) where the Shopify online orders will be imported. (more location features coming soon)
Price mapping

Description: Map Shopify's price levels to Vana's price levels.
Settings:
Retail price: Choose the corresponding Vana price level to map Shopify's "Retail Price" to.
For example, you can map it to Vana's "Sales Price".
Currently, only Retail price to Sales Price automatic mapping is supported
Initial Import

Description: Choose which Shopify customers, orders, and products to import into Vana.
Settings:
Import all customers: Enable this option to import all customer data from Shopify into Vana.
Import paid orders: Enable this option to import only the orders that have been paid for. You can also specify a start date for the import.
Import payment pending orders: Enable this option to import orders that are pending payment.
Shopify collection to import: Select the specific product collection from Shopify that you want to import into Vana.
Import inventory levels of products: If enabled, this will import the inventory levels of the products from Shopify.
Import custom items on open orders as products: Enable this option to import custom Shopify items on open orders as products in Vana.
Ongoing Sync

Description: Configure the ongoing synchronization settings for orders, fulfillment, and inventory between Vana and Shopify.
Settings:
Sync order fulfillment from Vana to Shopify: Enable this to sync the order fulfillment status from Vana to Shopify.
Coming soon features:
Sync order changes from Shopify to Vana: Enable this to sync any order changes made in Shopify to Vana. (coming soon)
Sync inventory levels from Vana to Shopify: Enable this to keep the inventory levels in Shopify updated with those in Vana. (coming soon)
Orders created in Vana reduce the inventory quantity in Shopify: Enable this to ensure that orders created in Vana reduce the corresponding inventory quantity in Shopify. (coming soon)
